A Spring in My Step

There’s a spring in my step
When the blossoms bud like jewels
And the world embraces renewals.

It reminds me of Christ
And the promises He made
So I no longer need to be afraid.

There’s a spring in my step
Because my Saviour’s blood did spill
So my underserved life will be fulfilled.

A plan set out by God
Conceived from the start
To speak to my trembling heart.

There’s a spring in my step
Because my Lord did inspire
A spark that became a fire.

I wrote this to celebrate the first day of Spring here in Australia. The photo is my rosemary bush in flower.

Beautiful, Lynda! I hope you
enjoy your spring as I plan
to enjoy my fall.

Really nice!
And to celebrate the beginning of our fall, it appears the US will get a hurricane.

Thanks, Sandy

Alex, oh dear... I hope it's not a big one and doesn't do too much damage :\ I'll certainly pray for anyone in its path.

That's a beautiful flower and poem. Today has started off beautifully... perfectly blue even if extremely windy. Bracing ourselves for the coming heat (a few months away).

Amanda, the silly wind kept moving the bush. It took me ages to get a good shot.

Sunnycalgirl, the inbetween seasons are great. They are a slow transition that introduces us to change :)

And may you always keep that fire burning and let it spread to those you encounter.

Hi Rebekah, I'm well. I hope your pregnancy is going well :)

Karen, neither was I. I'd never seen a rosemary bush in flower before so I had to capture it :) The flowers are tiny.
